- Take all ingredients for bati, and knead a semi-soft dough. Keep it aside for 10 mins. Then make small round balls and with the help of a knife, make X. Bake it in an oven for 30 mins or till done checking it twice. You can turn it if necessary.
- Wash and soak the dals. Pressure cooker for 4-5 whistles. Later open the lid, beat the dal lightly. Add the spices, salt. Heat ghee crackle jeera, green chilli, dry red chilli and hing. Pour it on the dal.
- Now before serving it, dip the bati's in the ghee. In plate serve the dal along with the bati and churma of course but since I did not make it, I replaced it with another sweet dish.
